People with disabilities have access to special kinds of healthcare in developed countries that are not available elsewhere. The National Healthcare System (NHS) in the United Kingdom provides medical coverage at little to no fees for all residents regardless of income level or disability status. At the very least, primary healthcare is taken care of by the government. And for those who can afford it, they can take out private health insurance to ensure additional coverage at private hospitals and clinics.
Transportation
In many developed countries, people with disability enjoy free transportation with additional personalised assistance, if needed. Train service providers are mandated to have wheelchair spaces with brakes as part of the Disabled People’s Protection Policy (DPPP). On buses, there are ramps and storage for wheelchairs. For private vehicles, manufacturers are now producing cars that cater to people with specific disabilities. Special parking spots are also reserved for them nationwide. This is how a nation shows support to its citizens with special needs.

This luxury is rarely found in under-developed and developing countries.
Just because people are disabled does not mean they are any less important to the country. Young people with disabilities are constantly coming up with creative ways to become more productive and useful in their society and the world at large. Without these special accommodations and support in developed countries, a lot of talents would be wasted as it is currently being done in other parts of the world.
